Hi all,
Quick question: looking at the Stanford psych residency page, they require:
I'm an MD-PhD student who intends to apply into the research track. I figure one of my letters should be from my thesis mentor, but I didn't work with them in a "clinical setting". Does that mean I should actually be doing 5 letters, 4 clinical + PhD mentor? Or should this mentor be one of the 4?
Thanks!
Quick question: looking at the Stanford psych residency page, they require:
- Four (4) letters of recommendation.
- From faculty members who have worked with you in clinical settings and know you well.
- At least one (1) letter of rec from a psychiatry clinical setting; and
- One (1) letter of rec from a primary care specialty (internal medicine, pediatrics, family medicine, or ob-gyn) clinical setting.
