Hi,
I am graduating soon from an EU country and I'm considering my options for Ireland. As i understood from the latest info from the medical council of Ireland website, I am eligible and i need the IELTS exam. Does anybody know how is the exam carried out? Is it difficult to pass? Do I need a specific score?
I also came across some info about how I don't need to do an internship in Ireland if I'm studying in an EU country, instead i should start a 'specialist trainee'. Does it mean that I should start my specialization right away when i go to Ireland? I would prefer to do my internship and then choose in what field i want to specialize in.
Also, is it very difficult to get a place in Ireland? I heard that the Scandinavian countries are easier to enter... I will need to learn a new language, but i don't mind that. Any suggestions?
Thank you!
