Hello all,
510 -> 509
Non-trad re-applicant. Retook an expiring exam (2019), and scored 1 point lower (2022).
My 2022 AAMC FLs were 513-515, but those FLs were re-takes after a 3 year gap (from my 2019 preparation), so some potential for score inflation.
I am thinking of studying 4 months full-time for a retake before this upcoming AMCAS cycle begins, but unsure if this score warrants a re-take. My initial gut reaction to a lower score (albeit 1 point) was that this would be a red flag for Adcoms, though I did end up receiving a MD II that eventually turned to R this current cycle. I will be applying DO next cycle; do I still have a decent chance at MD with my current score? Any thoughts or advice appreciated.
