It depends on the medical school you wish to apply. Most of the 63 medical schools in Mexico are federal and state funded which in turn tuition rates vary from $2 USD (e.g. UNAM) to $300 USD (e.g. UABC) per semester, no kidding!, but most of them do not accept foreing medical students, so your other options are the private ones who do accept foreing students and tuition rates vary from $4000 USD (e.g. UAG) to $7000 USD (e.g. Universidad Anahuac). The best medical schools in Mexico for foreing students are the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara (which has an international MD program that's parallel to a many US Med schools), Universidad de Monterrey and Universidad Anahuac. As far as I know the UAG has a many financial credit programs and in time will not be as expensive as in the US. Research your options wisely.
